You all knew I couldn't stay away forever. I like writing too much and visiting all my friends to not return.

I have had to do a lot of soul searching since I was here last. Nothing major happened in my life to prompt this, but I was just feeling unhappy with the way things were and needed to find a way to deal with that inner voice in my head. After much quiet reflection I have found a way to look at things differently, keep my positive attitude and just accept things for what they are. Of course I may slip from time to time, but for now, it is working for me, and I have found my happy place again.

As with most people, we are struggling to make ends meet. We have had to trim any excess things from our monthly budget and concentrate on the necessities. The price of gas is sky high here, and is supposed to be up to $6 per gallon by mid summer. Oh joy! I don't drive much as it is, so I can cope with that I suppose, however, the price of everything else has risen as well. We were going to try to make a jaunt to visit my family this summer, but that has been nixed so we are staying here for the summer and hoping to have some visitors to keep us from being bored out of our minds! LOL...

Donna and I are in the throes of watching playoff hockey. We love it! However our friends aren't quite as into it and can't understand why we won't pick up the phone during game time. We are adamant...so T U double F. The Pens are doing well so we are ecstatic. Looks like it may be the Pens and the Wings in the finals. Looking for a friendly bet Jana and Peter????

Neil is in Toronto at a competition this week with SIFE BCIT. Apparently their group has made it to the semi-finals and as I am writing this they are getting prepared for their second presentation, which they will be doing in about an hour. Hopefully they will make it to the finals! The competition is nation wide and encompasses all the colleges and universities in the country, so winning brings a lot of prestige to the school. Good luck BCIT.

So as not to bore I will end this post now. I am back, although probably won't be posting on a daily basis as work is my first priority these days...but I am here and back to fill you in on our life's comings and goings.

Yeah, prizes are rising out of the roof. I wonder how long it will take when my paycheck will rise out of the roof. Until, complainig about the prizes is all i can do. :-)

Yes, looks like a friendly little hockey wager may be appropriate, since both teams are at 3-0 as I write. What do you propose? Any ideas?
