I know most of you will have absolutely NO idea what this is about. Trevor Linden is/was the heart and soul of the Vancouver Canucks hockey organization! He announced his retirement this yesterday. This is probably only sad to those of us who love our hometown boys. I will try not to comment on hockey for at least a day or two! I said TRY people!

Have a happy rest-of-your-life, Trevor. Is he going into coaching? TV commentating? One thinks we haven't heard the end of Trevor.

Methinks Trevor was never fully appreciated by the media as he should have been. I didn't follow him that much myself but I know he was an awesome player and a great guy.

I hate to see him go but I cried rivers when Stevie Y retired!!
Oh Laurie,, what will we do when we are so attached to this game!!
