Friday was an absolutely gorgeous day here, warm, sunny and just a little crispness in the air. While Donna was going through her morning routine, Laura and I took a walk along the railroad tracks to my favourite health food store, cameras in hand. I got a lot of really good photos that day. Here is one that I snapped of a beautiful sunflower. This was a pretty small one compared to some of them. There were a couple that were about 2-3 hand spans across!

Thanksgiving weekend was pretty quiet. Neil came over on Sunday and spent the day, which was nice. We don't see him as much as we would like to. The highlight of the evening was his impersonation of Axl Rose, which had me rolling on the floor. Pretty funny indeed. It was a nice day all in all and nothing is better than spending time with my kids.

Today is election day so all you Canadians - get out there and vote today!

I have a busy work week coming up, which I suppose I had better get started on now!

I bet voting in the Great White North runs a LOT more smoothly than it does down here in CHAOS USA.

Three more LONG WEEKS before I can FINALLY vote for Obama, and stop having to argue with moronic customers about the candidates and the issues !
