The Deck
I finally got my pictures downloaded and made a collage showing my new deck. I am kind of late getting this done but better late than never. I can hardly wait until spring when I can fill it with plants and cozy furniture. I tried to give the impression of how big the deck is. Hopefully it will come across.
This is all I have to add for now as I need to go and eat my dinner. I am starving. Maybe an update tomorrow.
Peace out!

What a cute little bbq you have. Beautiful deck Laurie. I bet you are excited to have it done. Well maybe you will get some nice warm days yet this fall-winter isn't officially here yet!!
Sorry about the game last night...NOT!! We got whopped by the Sharks so I know how it feels. Were you at the game?
I was looking for you in the stands!!
Glad the banging and sawing is over.

Wow! Is your deck over someone's roof? That was the impression I get from the photos. That's pretty cool & such a lovely way to improve a blah rooftop! Beautiful view you have from up there, too, it seems. I'm thrilled for you to finally have it finished. You're going to love it, come Spring! :)

The view is fantastic from here and we actually even have a view of the airport and an ocean view on the south side. We are on the top floor of our building (4th floor) and there is only one other suite up here so we do have access to the entire roof of the building. I think this year the landlady and I are going to plant a rooftop garden up here to give it some colour and help with our carbon footprint! The size of my deck is approximately 1200 square feet, which is really pretty huge. It's like having 2 extra rooms, which is great when the weather is warm.

Wow! That's a glorious sized deck! You can do some wonderful things with container gardening, so now is the time to begin buying up the season leftovers from the gardening department! You know, so you'll be ready for all the lush veggies & herbs you plant next Spring. :)

I didn't see it all. But I saw enough to know I am highly envious of your super-sized porch.
Bet you're really going to enjoy it next year. Will you go anywhere else?
Wow
